15/11/2019. Cask at The Elms, Leigh-on-Sea. Pours black with an average size bubbly beige/tan head. Great looking pint. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits, slight ash and coffee. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Full body, oily/slick texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Cask at The Brewery Tap. Pours near black with a creamy brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has sweet dark grains and roasted malts with a bit of earthy chocolate underlying. Flavor has earthy dark grains and roasted malts with a touch of bitter chocolate underlying.
