When Hoppediz jumps out of a mustard pot in Düsseldorf Germany the carnival season is at its height and people party for five days in a row with their favourite drink, Altbier. Our version of the brown ale is brewed with an exciting mix of barley malts. Traditional noble hops add subtle spicy tones to the bitter-sweetness.

2/11/2019. Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. When Hoppediz jumps out of a mustard pot says the label. Well this Hoppediz Ale exploded out of the bottle with a huge gush. What was left poured clear dark amber with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, hops, bread, fruit, biscuit and earthy notes. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Despite it's theatrics, this was a pretty decent beer once it had settled a bit.
