330ml bottle from Hartington Cheese Shop - Clear brown body, little head. Deep fruity nose, lots of plum, yeast, stone fruits, honey and dates in there. Nice rich bready taste, but very light in texture. I reckon this would be a right banger if they'd taken it that little bit further.

23/2/2022. Bottle from Raise The Bar, Chapel en le Frith. Pours clear bright amber bronze with a small creamy off-white head. Certanly looked the part. Aroma of toffee, bread, dried fruit, malt, a little honey and light buttery notes. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Gently warming alcohol finish. Solid scoring barley wine, not a classic but certainly the best Wincle I've had.
