8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, molasses, ash, dark fruits, blackberry. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very nice, one of the festival highlights.
