Introducing O’ir (pronounced “OR”)
Meaning gold, this is our core pale ale, which takes inspiration from the American Pales that have graced our shores but given a more sessionable ALC of 4.3%. Hopped with Amarillo & Simcoe this Pale brings a complex fruity aroma and flavour, with a smooth balanced bitterness and slightly sweet finish from a touch of low colour crystal in the mash.

13/7/2022. Bottle from Raise The Bar, Chapel-en-le-Frith. Pours clear straw gold with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, wheaty, floral, dull citrus, orange, light buttery caramel. Quite sweet, bitterness developed which improved it. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Got better.

Remove the crystal and amp up the whirlpool hops to improve but well made!
