(Can) Pours very dark brown with short lived tan head. Nice aroma of nuts with notes of coffee and chocolate. Smooth medium body with nice soft carbonation. Very nice taste that evolves well in the palate. Some tangy and black treacle notes at start which mellow to dark chocolate and dark toffee. Some burnt sugar bitter notes in the finish. Very good.

15/10/2022. Draught at Ocean Reach Taphouse, Cowes, Philip Island. Pours clear mahogany brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate and caramel. Moderate sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Quite watery and fizzy. Nice aroma and looks but lacks body and is too carbonated.
