Cask at the Station House, Durham, 14/05/2025.
Golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is pale malts, grass, orange zest, straw.
Taste comprises tangerine, lemon rind, soft malts, herb, toasted grains.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Okay cask affair but falls short for a SIPA in terms of flavour profile and hop presence.

Gravicask, half-pint shared with Finn. Clear amber body, fragile lacing form a bubbly, filmy-layer. Ripe fruity aromas, hints of citrus. Gets impacts of lemon and grapefruit to the taste buds, cereal malts beneath. Drying close with a little bitter touch. Well made for the low abv.
Second session, 44th Liverpool Beer Festival, Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Cloudy orange gold with small foamy head. Fairly typical but pleasant aroma of citrus, passionfruit, flora, grains. Taste of citrus (lime rind and kumquat came to mind), pale malts. Quite tangy with bitter dry finish verging on astringent. Light to medium bodied, drying. Average but very drinkable.

27/9/2022. 500ml bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours hazy straw gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, nettles, grass, hay, chalky edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, quite fizzy. Nice aroma and okay overall.
