Brewed and matured like a lager with Munich and Pilsner malts, inspired by the infamous German ales of Köln. The result is a delicately balanced bready base, with gentle fruity esters from the yeast, combining to make a crisp and refreshing beer.

28/7/2023. Keg at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, malt, citrus, grains, bread. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery and creamy, average carbonation. Not bad.

Keg at Xylo, Margate, 07/10/22. Clear golden with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is biscuit, fruit cake mix, malt loaf. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toasted grains, caramel, dates, biscuit malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. It's okay...kind of grew on me.

Keg at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours almost entirely clear yellow-gold with a small, creamy white head. Quite sweet, some apple notes, doughy biscuits, honeysuckle. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, notes of white sugar, more doughy white bread, apple. Extremely so so.
