A 24 month barrel-aged imperial stout meets an easy drinking table stout to create a full bodied, rich, roasty and more approachable beer. Smooth and malty with underlying vanilla, oak and caramel.

23/6/2023. Cask at Stanford Arms, Lowestoft. First off, what a great name for a beer! Poured black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is woody, chocolate, vanilla, mildly roasted, boozy, caramel, dried fruits, hint of coconut. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a light tart edge. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Picks up all the elements of a BA beer without the high abv. Really good.
