A delightfully complex offering, enhanced by the chocolate notes of the cacao nibs, and the soft oak of the bourbon chips.

9/2/2024. Can shared by Colin, cheers. Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is ashy, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, fruit cake. earthy edge. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness and body. Quite smooth, soft carbonation. Increasing bitter roast finish. Enjoyed this.

Can at home, picked up from Creative Juices tap, 03/02/24. Black with a decent enough tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is cocoa powder, light smoke, dark malts, dried fruit esters, burnt toffee. Taste comprises cacao nibs, light smoke, charr, earthy roast, charr, toffee, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with an earthy roasted bite. Decent enough stout.
