31/1/2024. Cask at the 15th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear bright amber with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is biscuit, malt, fruit, caramel. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average to soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2023. A clear amber orange coloured pour halo of off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty honey malts. Raisin loaf. Dried fruits, wet grass.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, spicy, raisin, grass, rustic layered malts spicy. Bark, palate is semi sweet, tanin, grass, mellow cask condition. Good bitter.
