Can from Real Ale, Newark. Deep reddish brown colour with a thick off white head. Aroma has malty caramel and citrus fruit. Taste light fruity sweet and juicy. Full rich body. Great beer.

[ As Black Iris Lacerated Sky ].Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, fruity, dusty grass. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151006] 8-4-8-3-15

Draft at Crafty Crow in Nottingham. Clear deep maroon color, thick beige head. Dark fruity aroma. Taste has burnt edpresso, raisins, port wine, booze. A big beer.

Keg at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Pours like cherry Cola. No real head. Aromas of red fruit, caramel, faint solvent note. Taste is heavy on tannins. Chewy texture, boozy finish.
