This year’s vintage of A Silent Pursuit showcases more age, 4 different munichwine recipes, and a wider variety of barrels. This blend aged in bourbon, rye, and cognac barrels, and reminds me of baked cherry turnover topped with caramel covered toasted almonds and roasted pecans. It has been exciting to see how this new style has developed both at Private Press and beyond. This blend is another example of the depth and nuance the cellar can gain year after year.

Pike (barrel #260) aged 6 months in Cognac barrels and 6 months in Willett Family Reserve barrels
