Keg at CBJ. Opaque dark black brown beer, good bubbly dark tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin but rich dark chocolate, a little milk chocolate where vanilla intersects. A nice touch of singed caramel. Fair bit of boozy spice on the light and semi dry finish. Comes together well.

Keg at Mikkeller Exmouth Market, 30/10/24. Black topped with a khaki head. Nose is chocolate, caramel, brown sugar melt, waffle mix, dark malts. Taste comprises chocolate, dark malts, light spice balance, vanilla essence, toffee fudge, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced boost. Tidy pastry affair.
