Our latest and final version of our storied series.
We loved the second and fourth versions so it felt right for this to be their child. Slightly tweaked base recipe compared to the rest, for a more prominent German Pilsner character.
Dry hopped with Strata CGX and Riwaka Hop Kief to maximise flavour and yield of finished beer.

Keg at Mikkeller Brew Pub. Opaque edged light gold. Foamy white head. Aroma islow key- soapy citrus and herbs. This is a Wes8ie. The faintest bitterness and malta. No big coast. Some sweet citrus. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Bland Westie Lager.

Tap at mikkeller Exmouth market. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is nice floral citrus pollen, meadow, grass. Flavour is composed of crisp, bready grains, meadow, floral citrus, pollen, light tangy citrus, passion fruit notes, lovely. Paalte is semi sweet, semi crisp, highish carbonation. Not bad.

Third, draught at Mikkeller Brewpub in London. Shared with Finn. Fair white head over a clear pale golden body, spotty lacing from a white head. Inviting on the nose with grass and citric moments. Grain-fruity taste, hints of orange fruits. Discreet bitter finish. (London, 10.02.2025).

Keg at Mikkeller Exmouth Market, 30/10/24. Clear golden blonde with a just off white head that retains well. Nose is grass, light stone fruit whisper, toasted malts, melon, orange zest. Taste comprises pale malts, grass, pine needle, melon, light stone fruit spike. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with grass come light juicy hop bitterness. Decent refreshing IPL with a subtle Kiwi hop twist at the curtain call.
