American Porter with a creamy flavor. Hints of chocolate and balanced mild hop bitterness through the finish compliment a roasty, full flavor with notes of coffee and very subtle smoke.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, plenty of chocolate, coffee, roast, touch of fruits with an unexpected but welcome hint of funk. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Fairly light but pleasant Porter, good chocolate roast and some funk.

BOTTLE 12 OZ. Deep brown, beige head. Rich chocolate and maple syrup, vanilla caramel. Similar rate, just a bit thinner than the aroma suggest, moderate woody hoppy bitterness. Nice.

Bottle. Wood, cherry, chocolate malt, and fresh hay aroma. Black with giant tan head. Mildly sweet cherry chocolate malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay flavor. Okay body. On the dry side.

Bomber from Total Wine, Fredericksburg. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Aroma is cocoa powder, nuts, some sort of green vegetation? Flavor is roasted malt, a tangy something or other that just doesn’t seem like it belongs, and finishes quite thin. Carbonation is way overdone. I’m wondering if this is an old bottle. Something just seems off.

beautiful appearance of dark brown colour and large stable creamy beige head; aroma of roasted nuts, cocoa powder and some unripe plum, as well as licorice notes; taste is the same with dark chocolate and sourish coke-like notes; good porter

22 oz bomber, Xfinity Arena, Everett. A beer I’ve seen around, but never had a good enough reason to pull the trigger. Hockey is a good reason. Local brews. God damn I want an NHL team. Pours a near black with a tan fizz head. Very cola pour. Roasted malt, soft chocolate aroma. A pounder of a porter for sure. A bit dusty on the malt side. Slight vanilla. Cocoa. Good porter
