Cask, gravity at The National Winter Ales Festival, Derby, Friday 13th February 2015 in company of Chris, Ruth, Jan and Charlotte oh and Neil. dad and Pauline. Pours warm gold good clarity, runs to dryness quite quickly. A little bit tropical on nose, with some pineapple cubes, some perfume and a lasting bitterness, a jolly good beer, in tribute to such a good song.
Ruth was unfamiliar with the song that this beer pays tribute to, so me and Chris sang in our very best Pixies style.. got me a movie ha ha ha ho (in a shrieky style) slicing up eyeballs ha ha ha ho girlie so groovie ha ha ha ho don’t know about you but i am un chien andalusia be a debaser, Debaser (I am not sure we knew all of them words but we were good at shrieking out) Debaser
Sadly Ruth still didn’t know it, so then we sang ’This Monkeys Gone to Heaven’, we then trotted out ’ ’Here Comes Your Man’ before it became apparent that Ruth actually wasn’t that familiar with the Pixies A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
