500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of brown malts, brown sugar and Belgian ale yeast, hints of spices. The flavour has the same elements, not too sweet , moderately spicy and quite enjoyable.

hazy orange with a brown note, beige to slightly light brown head.
quite malty aroma, also a tiny bit of notes that is similar to oxidation or perhaps you could say cellary notes, the quite strong malty sweetness has a fruity note i cannot pin down, it resembles, slighlty, the banana fruity note you might find in a german hefe - but this time only as a fine subtle note into the sweet malts. the totality in only a few words would be sweet malty with overripe fruity notes. flavor is malty, sweet slightly fruity syrupy note, you could say sweet malty with a lot of character. also reminds me of polish strong supermarket ale (same boozy sweetness) so.. it's not entirely fantastic. in the end it's more like a cheap booze-bomb, than something more refined. tastes like a headache if you drink a few of these boys.

Bottle. Clear orange, amber body under a one finger sized, dense tan head. A bit mild aroma with malt, some caramel and hint of dry fruit. Taste is medium sweet malt, some caramel, some dry fruit and a spicy touch. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not what I consider a brown ale and not much funk to find either. More like a decent, average beer somewhere in between a pale ale and a Belgium dubbel.

A quite nice and fine beer But not really a brown ale, and not really funky either Hazed nutty in the glass with a small tan head Ok intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level Easy to drink Very malty flavor. Also fruity and some spiced notes [Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Halden, Norway]

500ml bottle carried back home from Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. A beige head resting on top of a cloudy orange body. Crocheted lacing. Promising smell of caramel and dusty hops. Caramel up front to the taste buds, added by a apricot bite, lightly spiced. Ends dry and smooth with a little warmth from the alcohol. Pleasing. (Rating session with lmojoh, Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 03.12.2020).
