Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - deep amber to red. Fluffy white head. Nose - orange and red fruits. A touch vinous. Toffee at the back. Taste - caramel but mostly red fruits. Some resin. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy with some crunch on the finish. Overall - not a typical ipa but not bad at all. More like an ESB.

Bottle 330ml. @ Craig’s House - Edinburgh. [ As Laig Bay Independence IPA ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, nutty, moderate hoppy, herbs citrus, toffee, butterscotch, vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, caramel, toffee, nutty, buttery notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 330ml bottle from Aldi. Copper colour with a thinnish white head. Bitter fruit aroma that carries through to the taste. Dry finish. Lots of hops, very little malt, but good

Bottle at Craigs 2016 alldayer. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of resin, light menthol, caramel. Taste is minty. Light resin finish.
