(473ml can from Fort Point c/o my girl Phyllomedusa) Pours opaque deep purple with a reddish cast and a small fading fuschia head. Aroma is all about 'blackberries', both crushed fresh and in jam or cordial, slight pip bitterness, a little lactic tart undertone. Flavour is surprisingly vinous, with rather intense dark berries recalling blackberry notes in a red wine, with berry pip and slightly herbal light bitterness, a soft lactic acidity and a little salt twang in the berry-laden finish. Medium-bodied, chewy, soft carbonation. Refreshing and fruit-dominated of course, but I thought the wine-like nature of the berry expression elevated it.

Pours a deep reddish-purple, with minimal head. Aroma of berries and lactic acid. Flavor is sour berry, with a slight touch of saltiness. Tart, fruity, and refreshing.

Pours deep purple into a tulip. Head recedes to nothing. Blackberry and boysenberry aromas. Sharp with sweet blackberry upfront turning to tart before the medium length seed finish.
