A deliciously sessionable, hoppy amber ale, with malt and hops in perfect harmony, and infused with a little juniper for that characteristic citrus tang. Botanic is hopped and dry-hopped with a combination of UK Cascade and First Gold hops.

Frothy off white head stayed on a hazy mahogany coloured still body. Big fruity aroma of red berries & jam. Medium bodied, prickly on the tongue with clean dry finish. Very fruity & medicinal tastes of red berries, jam, pine, spice & I'm picking the juniper up.

Appearance- murky brown, amber tinges, a big off-white head which persists. Aroma- caramel and biscuity malt dominate, soft fruity hops, hint of mash tun. Taste- caramel malt, peppery hints, fruit- a bit of apple in there, alongside some dark fruit, toffee. Mouthfeel is quite full for the abv, and juicy. Fruity finish, some lingering bitterness. Good.

330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with huge, frothy, very slowly osteoporosing, slightly lacing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of red berries with a minimally earthy touch, lingonberry, grassy, leafy undertones with a touch of black tea. Taste is fruity hoppy, slightly leafy and bitter, notes of red berries, lingonberry, a touch of strawberry; (too) lively carbonation pronounces a minimally chalky finish.
