Starting off with a base of white wheat and flaked oats, we used our 100% hand selected Victorian Galaxy in both the whirlpool and dry hop for the hop bill. Pouring a deep hazy yellow, saturated aromas and flavors of Florida navel orange, passionfruit, lychee, and grapefruit build into a dank #EQjuice forward finish with a balanced creaminess and a touch of hop bitterness. It seems like it took us lightyears to make our first All Galaxy DIPA, but we think it was worth the wait!

Can to tulip.
Appearance: thick burnt yellow cloudiness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some mild messy lace
Aroma: kinda a dusty conglomeration of grapefruity to piney to pulled passion fruity tart/sweet-ish whiffs then a subtle lemony to malty scent
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a bittersweet to slightly bitter and a crisp juicy sort of quality; finishes with a pinch of sweet grapefruity to passion fruity-ish hints
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium; between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness with ample dryness but nothing overbearing; good low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: not bad for what it is but I think I was kinda expecting a bit more of an expressive aroma and flavor.

Poured from a can stamped 2/17/26 into a tulip glass
Pours a murky opaque gold to orange with almost two fingers of tight fluffy white head that settles rather quickly to nice blanket on top of the beer. It leaves a lot thick sticky lace as it settles.
The aroma is wheat cereal flakes, fresh squeezed orange juice, grapefruit rind, tropical passion fruit. As it warms you get a bit more ripe pineapple and a bit of earth and pine coming through.
Taste very much follows the nose but that earthiness kind of runs throughout. Sweet ripe pineapple, fresh orange juice and passion fruit meld into a tropical trifecta, the citrus rind bitterness moves in after the initial sweetness and leans into that pine a bit toward the end. The wheat is present and
Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation, it's fairly smooth with the pithy bitterness balancing the sweetness. It is a sipper but one that has you keeping it close by. Fairly dry on the finish with lingering pithy citrus bitterness.
Overall it's a rather complex for a single hop double new england IPA, it's a nice showcase of galaxy hops and one I'd gladly revisit again.

Can at home. Ugly murky fruit juice appearance. White head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit dusty, a bit grassy, but unfresh. Smells unfresh too. Hmm no, not good at all. Stinks even. Bleh.

On Tap at Homestead, Meridian. Milky yellow pale beige. Modest lasting white head and sharp bittering citrus pith aromas and flavors. Clean sharp citrus bite in the bitters.

Cloudy medium orange body, thick cream head. Nose orange, lime, lychee, papaya. Body soft with a tart bite, mixed citrus and tropical fruit, lychee, dough, spice. Long finish with a surprisingly (well, relative to most hazies) rindy bitterness.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver; May 21 21, 2 months old
Murky blond colour. Nice aroma, juicy, stone fruit, peach, jam. Good body strength, there is some residual sweetness, the mouthfeel is not too dirty; the hopping provides both juicy character and bold bitterness (on the bitter citrus peel side). A bit too astringent in the finish.
Good.

16 oz. can, pours an opaque milky peachy yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out a citrusy, dank hop character, tropical fruits, and just enough malt backbone. Flavour is juicy and bitter, with lots of bitter citrus rinds, tropical fruits, and stone fruit pulp. Moderately bitter, very juicy. Very good.
