V pivovarni Tektonik smo zvarili sezonsko belgijsko pivo stila Wit, po tradicionalnem receptu. Sveže zdrobljena semena indijskega koriandra, lupine grenke pomaranče curacao poudarjajo svežino, ki jo dodatek črnega popra samo še izostri. Slovenski hmelj Styrian Golding ima tu le vlogo moderatorja, ki poveže arome in okuse v lahko, aromatično in sveže pivo, z relativno nizko alkoholno stopnjo, kar je kot nalašč za vroče poletne dni.

0.33 l bottle, shared with Elvin! Hazy pale golden to golden. Distinct spicy profile, hops present. Star anis, black pepper, cardamom, soft zesty, malted wheat, gingerbread and toasty aromas. Spicy flavour, gingerbread, pumpkin, malts a bit subdued, also yeast profile is low. Medium body, soft carbonation, light spicy finish. Quite complex.

33cl bottle from Lidl, in Rimini, Italy. Pours canary yellow with medium-high white foam, medium-gross. Aroma is esters, grainy, grassy. Quite nice for a blanche. Body is average with intense carbonation. Taste is moderate in both sweetness and bitterness. A bit sour. Finish is fairly long, actually.

Bottle Not very intensive, more subtle wit. Lightly sour, lightly yeasty... Wanna be Belgian, but it's not.

Bottle at home picked up from lidl. A hazed pale yellow straw coloured pour with a a loose frothy white head. Aroma is milky wheat, low banana and clove yeast, yogurt. Flavour is composed of apricot yogurt, doughy wheat, straw, spicy clove, light chalk. Palate is chalky, highish carbonation, carbonic acid bite. Not bad.

330ml bottle at home. High level of carbonation, medium white thin head, almost cola-like. Hazy yellow, traditional witbier aromas of lemon zest, black pepper, coriander. Nice mouthfeel, some astringent character but not too bad. Nice refreshing finish.

0,33 l bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow with big frothy lasting head. Aroma of coriander stands out, some orange, yeast, wheat, grainy, biscuit malt, a hint of banana. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and slightly sour. Body is light, texture slick, carbonation average to lively. Finish is medium, coriander lasts till the end together with some light spicy bitterness. Simply too much coriander for me.

Bottle in a trade with MarkoNm. Pours hazy pale gold with an initially huge white head, gradually diminishing to nothing. Aroma is bittersweet, wheat, hop, lemon, also some starch. Fairly heavy sweetness, light bitternessa ns sour to taste. Light body, some stickiness to texture. Easy drinking, finish is a bit dry with some lasting bitter fruit.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Tektonik Hercule Witbier ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, wit bier yeast, light spicy, light citrus, honey notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, honey sweet, wit bier yeast. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20161018] 6-2-6-2-11
