Draft at Churchkey during Savor Week. Hazy deep golden color, white head. Aroma of dusty haystacks. Taste is lightly funky straw. OK.

Draft at Churchkey for the The Southern Craft Brewer Night: Burial, Fonta Flora, Great Raft, Parish & Wicked Weed. Poured a hazy yellow color, off-white head. Aroma was sweet malts, some funky character from the yeast, with herbal notes that dominate this one. Flavor was lots of spices, primarily black tea.

CBC. Murky pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, lemon and light fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish with a slight acidic edge. 140516

[5/14/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Green session. Hazy yellow. Aroma of lemon, tea, spice. Dry flavor, lemony, spicy, slightly tart. Quite light-bodied.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy golden, medium off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is almost a bit smoky, sea air, field grass, green tea. Flavor is tea forward, still a bit smoky, light citrus notes. Light sweet, light bitter, herbal, orange zest. Light body fairly high carbonation.

Sample at CBC 2016. Golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, hay, yeast, funk and light wood. The body was around medium. A decent one.
