Empress Julius is an amped-up rendition of Queen Julius brewed with a novel blend of hops resulting in an immensely juicy beverage. The addition of classic American hops, including Cascade of various origins, brings about whispers of sweet floral character that melds perfectly with the celebrated base beer.

Pours a hazy, golden peach color, with smallish head. Aroma is juicy tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor follows, with some melon flavor as well. Light sweetness, though not cloying. Moderate hop bitterness at the finish. Soft mouthfeel. A worthwhile addition to the lineup!
