Grab your togs and get paddling with an all-new Hero that's Kiwi in origin and packed with New Zealand's prized Riwaka hop. As bright and clear as Lake Taupō on a sunny day, Riwaka-Hero is chocka with sweet tropical fruit, lemon, passionfruit, and pink grapefruit notes from the namesake hop. Grab a mate and taste some southern hemisphere sunshine.

Canned May 10, 2024. 473mL can, pours a hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma doesn't smell like NZ hops -- mostly getting bitter orange rind, resinous hops, and grapefruit. Flavour is likewise dominated by the pink grapefruit upfront, orange rind, resinous hops, and some tropical fruit. This comes across more like a chewy, bitter, malty, old school IPA than anything NZ-style. But, whatever it is, I'm into it. Very good.

Pours a clear, dark copper, with big, lasting head. Aroma is dank and resinous, with citrus, pine, bread. Flavors follow. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. Moderate to above hop bitterness in the finish.
