Our award-winning Porter bridges the gap between malty brown ales and heavily roasted stouts. Notes of chocolate, coffee and roasted barley are offset with just a slight hop bitterness. Enjoy any time of the year.

Bottle, 11C. Dark brown with a modest tan head that’s soon less than a coat. 3- Aroma of mildly roasted malt, licorice, some mocha. Smooth, lowish carbonation. Tastes as it smells with a slightly astringent bitter finish. Roasted and burnt flavours creep up. Crude but cheery.

Flaska från Mikkellers webbshop. Smak och doft av choklad, fina kaffe armoer, rostad malt med toner av mocca, vanilj och russin. En stabil och välgjord porter. Rund och len, välbalanserad och lagom sötma.

Bottle. A- Iron, cocoa, subtle smoke. A- Black color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Cocoa, dry, slight bitterness, roasty, malty. P- Full body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- While I wasn’t overly keen on the aroma...a little too much iron in it, it was a pretty textbook porter. I mean, hell, the name is about as obvious as it gets. Lots of dry roasty bitter cocoa and not a ton else. Good but I expect better from Bells.
