Our award-winning Porter bridges the gap between malty brown ales and heavily roasted stouts. Notes of chocolate, coffee and roasted barley are offset with just a slight hop bitterness. Enjoy any time of the year.

Old rating. Dark brown color with an off white head. Nice coffee and milk chocolate aromas with biscuit on the nose. Taste is similar with chocolate really standing out as it comes to room temperature. Some dark fruit and hop resin in there as well. Slightly roasted coffee bitter finish. Quality stuff!

From bottle to pint glass. Semi-sweet chocolate, dark wheat and bakerβs chocolate aroma. Pours almost opaque brown with garnet highlights. Full dark tan head lingers, with very minimal webbing on the side. Taste is chocolate and chocolate powder. Sweet malt in moderate high amounts leads to a sweet finish. Moderate low bitterness balances well with the chocolate aspects.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown with spongy beige head, mocha aroma, medium carbonation, coffee beans taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Nice example of a smooth porter.

35,5 cl bottle @ tiong, bottled 26.12.2013
Aroma has roasty malty tones, licorice, dark chocolate and coffee. Flavour has roasty tones, toffee, some licorice and hints of cold coffee. Also hints of syrup and toasted sugar. Sweet and thin, a bit disappointing.
