16oz draft from hanger poured into a shaker. Pours black with about a finger of tan head. Light aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste is about the same. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently bitter finish. Overall, not bad. I probably would have liked this more had I not just drank the Founders Porter before this.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours black with small dark brown highlights and medium light brown head. Pretty good lacing, medium body, and little carbonation. Taste is roasted rich malt, a little nuttiness, and a hint of hops in the finish.

Bottle at august tasting. Pours a dark brown with ruby hue with small off white head. The aroma is roasted malts with coffee and chocolate. Thin mouthfeel with a rich coffee malt with roast and light smokey finish. Very good porter from Bells.

Bottle. Coffee and milk notes in the aroma. Tastes a lot of coffee to, and the aftertaste has got some serious coffee bean notes. Well balanced. Smooth and creamy. Not the most exciting porter, but nice.

Received in trade from sholland119, Thanks for the opportunity. Pours a solid chocolate brown with a decent tanish head that sticks around for a bit. Aromas of chocolate and coffee, a little fruity with some roast in there too. Taste is some chocolate, some fruit and bitter roast with a little ash at the end. Mouthfeel starts creamy, but leaves your mouth dry in the finish. Medium carbonation. Decent brew, I could see myself drinking these a lot if they sold it here.

12oz bottle. Opaque brown-black. Foamy, glass-lacing beige head. Chocolate caramel toffee in the aroma, quite subtle and mellow. Mossy, roasty mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Pretty much nails the mark for a Stateside Porter. Well balanced, perfectly executed.
