Well I'll be damned...a pumpkin beer I enjoyed. Offers up spices usually found in a traditional pumpkin ale but doesn't amp them up to palate-ruining levels, then soaks them all in a strong cup of java, layering heavy coffee notes over a moderate vein of chocolate and caramel. Never grows overly sweet, though; the roast and coffee bitterness mixes with a hearty warmth on the finish to ease any pumpkin spice overload. Very nice pint.
