On tap at the Spokane Indians game. Aroma is strong in lemonade, ginger, grain. Pours hazy orange-yellow with a white head with good retention. Taste is refreshing tartness, wheat. Creamy mouthfeel, light body. Definitely the best radler or shandy I’ve ever had. Maybe it just tasted extra good in the scorching hot ballpark, though.

Bottle. Pours a a hazy pale yellow with a foamy white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice refined lemon note with a touch of wheat and a ginger bite underlying. Flavor has the same refined lemon with a more subdued finger note and a wheat backbone.

Thanks to Eugene for the bottle - pours a turbid gold, looking almost like a Hefeweizen - nose of mildly sweet lemonade, melon rind, and mild ginger spiciness, but also some odd musky notes and lemon pledge kind of character as well - moderately sweet up front, but the tartness kicks in fast - medium, prickly acidity - lemon juice tart/sourness - acidity reaches a rather biting stregth (malic, citric) need the finish - ginger becomes noticeable in the finish and creates a sligh warming sensation - a lemon-lim soda quality on the tail end as well - just kind of tastes like lemonade mixed with 7-up to me, really - not really a fan.

Draft - Sweet and spicy ginger and lemon. Cloudybyellow with a good white head. Spicy ginger and tart lemon, balanced and well done. A tasty radler.

12 oz bottle purchased at Jack’s Discount Liquor. 4091 bottled stamped on the neck, meaning beer was bottled on April 1, 2014. The pour is a cloudy pale yellow, almost chalky white with a one inch white head the falls rockily. The aroma is fresh bright ginger along with tart lemon. Bright fresh engaging nose. A hint of wheat grain is present as the beer warms. The taste is semi-sweet lemon soda, zesty and tart along with just an edge of ginger that cuts the sweetness and spices the flavor up a bit. As with the nose, as the beer warms there is a bit of wheat grain. All told, straight-forward clean flavors. The palate is light bodied, spritzy carbonation and the lemon zest sweet finish. Very easy drinking (looked down, and whoosh, the beer was gone). Tasty, refreshing Radler - I wouldn’t be surprised if Boulevard replaces Zon with this beer for the summer seasonal.
