Roast and coffee. Chocolate. Black pour with creamy mocha head. Finish is very light bitter--body seems on the light side for a big porter. Creamy consistency. Can from a corner bodega in San Juan.

Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! It's a hazy dark brown-mahogany with tons of sparkle, nice viscosity, finger-width creamy foam head quickly fading to a cap and no lacing. Aroma is sweet roasted coffee and malts with cream. Taste is roasted coffee and malt, slightly on the burnt coffee/sugar side, notes of toffee and nuts. Anise as it warms. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, never had Puerto Rican hot chocolate (interestingly, cheese is an essential ingredient) so don't know how well this approximates it. For a coffee beer, it's not overwhelming

Beer schleped back from San Juan didn't realize it was from Georgia. Mostly clear dark brown with a good sized frothy tan head that persists. Milk chocolate nose with light earthy roast. Flavor adds some creamed coffee. Pretty Tasty!

Draft. Black beer with a dark cream head. Chocolate and light roast aroma. Chocolate and light roast flavor. Medium bodied. Chocolate and nuttiness linger with light roast.
