Take Two Pils is a step into an alternate reality for SweetWater, a head-first dive down the rabbit hole into the Wonderland world of lagers. The adventurous golden blonde German style pilsner is brewed with a mad hatter’s dose of spicy floral hops. It’s beautifully Bohemian in body, earthy in soul and it’s moving low. Pours a nice gold and shiny from bottle. A bit of hops and a clean finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. Not crazy about pilsners but this one was not bad. Golden in color with a nice head. Aroma is light floral with grains and malt. Taste was nicely balance with a grainy upfront taste and a crisp, floral hop finish.

Can 12fl.oz. @ Craig’s - Edinburgh. [ As Sweetwater Take Two Pils ].Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grass, celery. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, citrus, pale malt, tropical fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 12oz bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light sweet pils notes, malts, with some earthy and herbal hop notes. Flavor was nice tasty grain, with some mild bitterness and a touch of grass. Pretty easy to drink.

Bottle from Kroger; where else would Sweetwater come from? Pours golden with an inch of white head. Aroma of grass, slightly sweet, nothing new. Taste is slightly sweet grasses with a bready corn aftertaste. If not for the corn aftertaste this wouldn’t be bad.

Can at Craigs 2016 alldayer. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of light corn, green beans. Taste is light astringent, vegetal finish.
