Collaboration with Sun King Brewing (Indianapolis, IN) - “Ripa the Dipa,” brewed with our friends at Sun King Brewing, is a Double India Pale Ale brewed with malted and unmalted Rye. The name was strictly a working title, but everyone liked it so much, it stuck.

Can 12fl.oz. @ [ The Country Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Aarhus. [ As DC Brau / Sun King Ripa The Dipa ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, rye, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, pale malt, rye, grapefruit, pine, hoppy, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20161008] 7-3-8-3-15

Can at Aarhus tasting. Pours golden brown slightly hazy with a small off white head. Aroma of rye, malt, hop, caramel. Medium sweetness, higher bitterness. Finish is dry, lasting bitterness. Good beer.

Can @ Johns. Pours slightly hazy golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, light spice, grass, fruit, light pine. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, light caramel, rye, grassy, bitter fruity hops, pine. Medium to full body, average carbonation, bitter finish with a bit of alcohol. 081016

Can @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, hops, fruits, pine and has a sweet hoppy malty finish.

Can. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hopy nice aroma. Heavy bitter wonderfull flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

12 oz can poured into a tulip. Canned 4/11/2016. Clear golden amber with a finger of beige head. Aromas of grapefruit and orange citrus, light floral notes, hop oils, malt, some biscuity notes. Tastes of grapefruit citrus, floral notes, hop oils, rye spice, some alcohol. Medium body with a dry and slightly warm finish.
