Den här ölen som du håller i din hand är precis som en norrlänning- okomplicerad och lätt att älska! Ölet som heter Lios på Överkalixmålet betyder ljus och det är precis vad den är: En lättare, fruktig ale där malten står för ryggraden och humlen bidrar med fruktigheten. För bästa smakupplevelse häller du upp Lios yvigt i ett kupat glas så det bildas en rejäl skumkrona. Eller så gör du det inte så komplicerat och dricker den rakt upp och ner. Och bli inte rädd för jästfällningen som bildas i botten på flaskan, den är bara ett bevis på hantverket.

Bottle 33cl. Amber, hazy with a huge off white head. Aroma of malt, grass and hops. Light bitter with a minimal hop end, a bit light.

Bottle from SB. Unclear orange with HUGE White head. Soapy floral with burnt plastic, some grass and caramel. Weird one.

Bottle at Nolia Beer. Murky amber colour, big cloudy beige head. Acidic, chalky aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp. Citrus acidity in front, then quite empty mouthfeel with unpleasant yeast notes. Feels a bit off. Like the bottle of previous raters over a year ago. Strange.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Tjers Lios ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass - leather - brett, plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, plastic, grass - leather, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160708] 4-3-3-3-6

Bottled@PBF XI. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some toffee and mild sprice along with some "urinal cake" (those soapy things in the men’s urinals). Flavour is very similar.

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured amber, hazy with a thick white head. Chalky, rubbery stuff. Rubber and plastic dominates. Spoiled.

Flaske 0.33L gave fra Djoeye. Uklar gylden med hvittskum. Lukt bær, aprikos. Smak, humle, aprikos, fin bitterhet, lang avslutning. Nytes i lange drag. En god pale ale.

330ml bottle, #121. Thanks to djoeye for the beer gift. A two-finger thick, bubbly head slowly fading over a bright golden-brown body. Good lacework. Unclear last pour. Wet wool on the nose, hints of spiced malts. Strange kind of taste, notes of herbal hops and some kind of spices. Drying ending. Thin to medium bodied. Artificial impression (Tromsø 25.06.2016).
