Here is a beer with a strong character! Its intense taste subtly blends the roundness of caramel and the strength of more roasted malts. The bitterness tends towards subtle aromas of red fruits to balance this unique tasting beer!

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth’s pre-GBBF tasting 2015 - London. Gusher! Pours clear copper with a frothy khaki head. Dry and ripe fruits in the aroma, light yeast, bread. Medium sweet flavor with dry toasty malts, dried fruits, some cherry, grains, slight earthy bitterness, Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with some woody dryness and more dried fruits. OK stuff overall.

Bottle thanks to Ian at ChrisO pre-GBBF. Gusher! It pours clear deep red - brown with a massive tan head. The nose is earthy, metallic action, cocoa, penny, earthy roast, sweat and burnt rubber. The taste is toasty, metallic, sultana, cocoa, raisin, fruit cake, light spice, mild acidity and charcoal with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and very high, foamy carbonation. Rather messy.

Pre GBBF tasting as Chris and Ruth’s. Almost clear deep amber beer, big cream colour head. Palate is airy with fine carbonation. Sweet and sour (brewery trademark?) caramel. Floralness. Tangy dried fruits. Light finish. Okay.
