Bottle split at the Cotteridge Convention, thanks to Jezza, 24/01/15. Clear golden amber with a decent light beige top. Nose is woody, toffee, dark fruits, biscuit malt. Taste comprises straw, must, dark fruit, light citric leanings. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter scrub. So so bitter.

500ml bottle: BBD Jul 15. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 5th Dec 14, the first beer in a random tasting night with myself: no sharing. Full light beige head on a clear amber with a red hue body. Malty and semi-sweet in the nose and taste, some fruitiness seeps into the flavours also. Nice and better than the weaker cask version in my opinion.
