Bombarded with hops, this pale ale hit a massive 300+ IBU’s! Our attempts to warn the drinkers of the sky high bittering units – through the use of the ‘hazardous chemical’ style pump-clip – went unnoticed and you hardy hop lovers despatched Mea Culpa with ease!

Cask at the National Winter Ales Festival, The Roundhouse, Derby. Gold pour with a white head. Has a nose of sulphur, burnt rubber and pear. Flavours of sweet fruit and nuts. Lacks depth and seems over cloying on the alcohol front.
