[ As Acorn Kohatu IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, cookie - biscuit malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, fruity, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150211]

Cask at arrochar ale festival. Pours clear copper, nose is floral, toffee, taste is dry, sweet, floral, crisp.

On cask at Travelers Rest, Apperknowle - Clear golden amber body, thin off-white lacing head. Nose is sweet, tropical, citrus, a little sugary too. Taste is some malty sweetness combined with pineapple, citrus flavour and a hint of resin. Bit sticky in the palate, but very nice nonetheless.
