Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2015, National Winter Ales Festival (2015), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Big Rabbit Black Annie ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, bread - dark bread, roasted, dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, soya sauce, bread, dark malt, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol February 2015. Black in colour, with a small, off-white, head. Chocolate notes, a hint of porridge, berry fruits and a dryish finish. Good.
