Pours a cloudy copper with a very small head. Aroma is green coffee beans and roasted nuts. Flavor is more green coffee roasted nuts and a little ester from the trappist yeast. Alcohol is not a problem mine says this is 8% not the 9.2% listed here. Kind of thin but a decent coffee flavored beer with a minor Belgian yeast ester.

[1/30/17] Draught at Black Hammer Brewing in San Francisco. Cloudy golden. Aroma of vegetal coffee, yeast, overripe fruity esters. Sweet flavor, fruity, coffee, slightly spicy. Medium-bodied. Doesn’t really work.

Draft. Orange-amber beer with a cream head. Coffee aroma. Coffee and spiced apple flavor with light yeast. Medium bodied. Coffee and spice linger with apple and yeast.
