Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Amber color, clear, with compact head. Very mild aroma, some caramel light esters (banana). The malts are a bit chewy; it has a bit too much residual sweetness; the flavor is dominated by sticky caramel, toffee, ice cone wafer; a bit peppery, reasonable bitterness, but also some vegetable bitterness in the final.
Messy.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, piney hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, but much less complex, with light Belgian yeast, dry biscuity malt and dry hopping galore. Very dry, quite bitter and subtly Belgian-esque. Not the most refined beer, but it's pleasant, if a bit harsh.
