Tiny shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet concentrated grassy, leafs, moss, citrus peel, hops, lawn, light malts, grapefruit, hay, minerals. Taste is slightly dry grassy, weeds, leafs, moss, citrus peel, bark, paper, hops, grass, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

F: big, good retention, off-white. C: amber, hazy, opaque. A: malt, caramel, toast, citrus, dusty. T: malty, grapefruit, earthy bitterness, tangerine, toast, good not disturbing bitterness, creamy, refreshing and worth to try, 0,25l from tap at Jopen in Amsterdam.

Tap at Craft Heads. Big white grapefruit, citrus and lemon nose with crackery malts and some light tropical notes as it warms. Above average carbonation with a medium body that feels light. Tons of dank weed on the palate with some grassiness as well. Bitter on the palate and bitter finish. Lots of citrus in the finish as well. Very nice.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber with off-white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, pine, and malt. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, caramel, malt, and pine. Has a nice piney, bitter finish, but has enough of a malt backbone to keep everything in balance. Medium-bodied. Very tasty. Nice to finally see AleSmith in Texas.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. Bottled on 10/19/2015.
The appearance was a hazy semi-burnt orange color with a decent transparency about it. Carbonation can be seen rising at a moderate pace. A one finger white foamy head started and dissipated at a nice pace. Messy clingy and semi-foamy lacing runs around the glass nicely.
The smell starts off with sharp resinous pine rolling into some bitter citrus rind and then a light malt backbone.
The taste wraps up the previously mentioned flavors in a nice bittersweet fashion. Lingering sweet citrus aftertaste collides into the finish nicely, somewhat dry.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across fairly nice. Hop bitterness shows enough harshness on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I wish I would’ve bought the rest of the sixer. Well done!
