Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear amber colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up crystal malt like fig esters washing over thin pine and faint citrus hops. The taste is a smooth soft blend of thick-ish malts and restrained citrus and spicy and mildly resiny pine hoppiness that adds modest hop bitterness. The malts are forward for the style and add sweetness and Crystal malts lightly sweet nutty notes. Into the finish a pleasing pine hoppiness comes forward to add another facet to the experience. Overall pretty malt forward for my taste but your results may vary.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with light caramel.
