Shepherding sheep on horseback in the Falklands with only a sheepskin for a saddle - We were the Gaucho's moving thousands of sheep across the desolate land that the troops yomped over to reach Port Stanley.
This dark ruby red ale celebrates the malt with a dark caramel and chocolate base, balanced on a blend of European hops. Aromas of soft fruit, chocolate and toffee play around the taste of berries. A great beer to have with your Sunday dinner.
Malt : Crystal 150, Crystal 400, Chocolate, Patent Black, Venture, Wheat
Hops : Northern Brewer (EU), Target (UK), Fuggles (UK), Challenger (UK), Goldings (UK)

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 17/10/2014. Deep amber with a frothy, white, head. light aroma of hedgerow fruits and cereal malts. Flavour had more fruits, a touch of caramel and crisp malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.
