This dark ruby red ale celebrates the malt with a dark caramel and chocolate base, balanced on a blend of European hops. Aromas of soft fruit, chocolate and toffee play around the taste of berries. A great beer to have with your Sunday dinner.

Gravity cask at Maltingsfest, Newton Abbot 23/04/2022. Pours clear ruby amber with a beige cap. Aroma: malt, caramel, blackberries. Taste: light sweet & bitter, semi-dry, caramel, dark fruits. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Gravicask, 4.6 % abv., at Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival. Clear ruby-copper coloured body, naked surface, fragile lacing. Black fruits and blach berries on the nose. Caramel, dark fruits and hints of blackcurrant to the taste buds. Mid dry malt-accented ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing. (Newton Abbot, 28.04.2017).

Hazed dark golden color with a off white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium (-) body and a soft carbonation level. Moderate sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Toffee, herbal and fruity flavor.

Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Twisted Gaucho ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, fruity, apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, caramel, nutty, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141205]

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence, stated ABV 4.6%. A golden amber colour with a thin cream head; fruity aroma;quite acidic in the mouth with a apple taste, and a touch of peaty smoke; giving a dry finish.

Cask gravity at Harbour Arms Margate, clear mid brown. Some malty fruit. Touch of strawberry jam and caramel. Yes jammy caramel. Board said 4.6% abv.

Cask (Bath Brew House, Bath) - Amber in colour. Dried fruit, apricot and some nutty notes in the aroma. Fruity, nutty and nicely balanced taste with chestnuts, biscuity malt and orange detected. Quite nice.

Tried at the three horseshoes Waddington. Amber with white head. Malty beer with caramel and fruit. Nice.
