Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up some maltiness that slides into a modest sour fruit sort of note and then light sour mash blended with a cracker malt sensation. The taste delivers a mix of malts and then soft rye flowing toward an all too mild sour mash note. It picks up some fruitiness here and there that links into bitter citrus hops. It improves as it warms.

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Tart and light spice aroma. Tart and light spice flavor with light caramel and light tropical fruit. Medium bodied. Tart and light tropical fruit linger with light spice.
