Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit and light pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with malt and light woodsiness. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine linger with light caramel. Well balanced.

Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a pure deep gold body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up a rye to a spicy hop like twang mixing with some sweet maltiness with a touch of toasted malts or toasted German rye bread. The taste has a decent level of sweet maltiness and it rolls quickly into grapefruit like hops, sort of a tart tangelo and then a spicy rye component around the edges. This is a nice pale ale with a pleasing level of nearly rich hop bitterness to stay well ahead of the maltiness.
