A blend of English Dark Malts, Canadian Pale Malts and 20% Oats give this roasty, chocolaty stout an eminent richness. Chewy hearty, and silky in body with a hop bite from Mosaic and Simcoe hops in the boil. Get some of this dark chocolate oatmeal treat!

Pours very, very dark brown. I won’t quite call this black. Burgundy brown at the edges. Tan head, medium-sized. Some lacing. Retention is always difficult to judge with a bar pour. Luckily, I don’t care in the slightest. Chocolate in the aroma. Mostly milk chocolate with a bit of depth. Mild roast. Some caramel sweetness. Taste is similar. Mostly chocolate milk. There’s more roast. Mild vegetal hoppiness. Moderate to medium sweet. Finishes with light bitterness and caramel. Medium body. Lighter carbonation than most of their beers. Nice stout.

Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, dark chocolate, hints of hops and grass. Taste is smooth, roasty and malty with some dark chocolate and grassy hops. Finish is malty, roasty and sweetish with some chocolate and hoppy notes. Quite balanced stout with a nice touch of hops.
