On tap at Diving Dog, pours a hazy chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, toasted nuts and caramel - very sweet. Flavour is fairly spicy and yeasty, with roasted chestnuts, caramel bready malt and Belgian yeast. Nowhere close to an authentic quad, nor all that complex. It's pleasant enough, but doesn't hit the mark.

On draft at 38 degrees Ale House in Alhambra. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma of peaches. Flavors of butterscotch and tropical fruits.

[2/3/16] Draught at Faction Brewing in Alameda. Deep golden-amber. Aroma of overripe fruitiness, caramel. Sweet flavor with caramel, fruity, with mild spiciness. Medium-bodied.

Sample at the tap room. Clear copper color with a medium thick light beige head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, figs and caramel malt. The finish is fruity with a plum and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Dark amber beer with a cream head. Dark fruit and dried fruit aroma with light yeast. Dark fruit and rich malt flavor with light yeast. Medium bodied. Dark fruit and summer fruit lingers with rich malt and yeast.

Tap@Faction. Pours hazy reddish hazel with a small beige creamy head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark sugars, malty dark breads, spices, prunes, figs, belgian yeast. Flavor is medium sweet, minimal bitterness, quite spicy overall. Medium body. Interesting.
